When you're stuck one component short, ARC Raiders can feel like it's mocking you. Voltage Converters are the classic example: you can loot for ages and still come up empty if you're searching the wrong places. Before you even drop, it helps to think in terms of loot pools, not "general luck," and to keep a quick reference like ARC Raiders Items in mind when planning what you're actually trying to pull from Topside.

The big tell is the lightning-bolt icon. If you're not routing through electrical-tagged areas, you're basically gambling with bad odds. Substations, control rooms, generator halls, any place that sounds like it'd hum in real life—that's where you should be. Once you're inside, don't waste time on every container just because it's there. Focus on the stuff that looks like it belongs to an electrician: metal lockers, wall breaker panels, server racks, and those narrow cabinets tucked near consoles. People love to pop open the big industrial bins first, but in my runs those feel like filler more often than not. Stick to the "power-room" containers and you'll notice the difference pretty fast.

Most players who farm Converters aren't doing anything magical; they're just consistent. Pilgrim's Peak gets mentioned a lot because it's tight and efficient—lots of electrical containers without a ton of dead space between them. You can run it, reset, run it again, and your "loot per minute" stays solid. Also, don't ignore basements in larger industrial sites. The above-ground floors might look juicy, but the real electrical rooms tend to be downstairs: more panels, more cabinets, fewer random "junk" spawns. The trick is to learn a path you can do even when you're spooked, low on stamina, or hearing shots nearby.

Sometimes the drops just won't show up, and that's when you stop being stubborn. Celeste usually carries a small supply, and paying in Seeds can be way cheaper than losing a kit in a contested zone while you're tilted. The other option is the recycling loop, which a lot of folks forget exists when they're tunnel-visioned on the exact name "Voltage Converter." Grab higher-tier electrical junk—Industrial Chargers, Signal Amplifiers, Ion Sputters—and break them down at base. You're still progressing, you're still stockpiling, and you're not relying on one single roll to finish your Heavy Shield, Showstopper, or Weather Monitor crafts while browsing for cheap ARC Raiders Items to keep your builds moving.
